Terms
Plain version: donating is optional, the coins only exist inside our Valheim server, and nothing you can buy makes you stronger than a player who never spends a cent.
Donations are voluntary
Playing here is free. Donations help cover hosting and keep the world online. You are never required to donate to play, and no part of the world is gated behind one.
What Valcoins are
- An in-game currency on this server only. They are not money, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged back into currency.
- Spendable in the in-game shop on cosmetic perks and weekly-limited consumables. They are not transferable off this server.
- Tied to your Steam ID. If you stop playing they simply sit there.
Refunds
Donations are non-refundable. Once Valcoins are credited the donation has been used. If something went wrong — you donated and no coins arrived, or you were charged twice — tell us and we will fix it. That is a mistake to correct, not a refund request, and we would rather hear about it than have you file a chargeback.
A reversed or disputed payment removes the coins it paid for. If that leaves a negative balance, the account simply sits at zero.
The shop can change
Prices, perks and weekly limits are tuned as the server evolves, and items may be added or retired. Perks you already own are not taken away by a price change. If a perk has to be removed for balance or technical reasons we'll say so in Discord and make it right.
Server availability
This is a hobby server run by players. We aim to keep it online and backed up, but we can't promise uptime, and a community server does not run forever. If it ever winds down we will announce it in Discord with as much notice as we can.
Fair play
Donating doesn't exempt anyone from the server rules. Accounts removed for cheating or abuse lose access to their perks, and donations are not refunded in that case.
Not affiliated with the game's makers
This is an unofficial, fan-run community server. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Iron Gate Studio or Coffee Stain Publishing. Valheim is their trademark. Your donation supports this server's hosting costs and nothing else.
